FluxCast Privacy Policy

Overview

FluxCast does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. All streaming occurs locally between your iPhone and your Tesla vehicle over a private Wi-Fi hotspot. No data leaves your device network.

Data We Do NOT Collect

• No personal identification information
• No location history or GPS logs
• No screen content or video recordings
• No audio recordings or microphone data
• No usage analytics or telemetry
• No crash reports sent to external servers

Network Extension (VPN)

FluxCast uses a Network Extension (NEPacketTunnelProvider) solely to assign a virtual IP address (3.3.3.3) to the iPhone's local tunnel interface. This allows Tesla's browser to connect to the iPhone's local HTTP server.

• No network traffic is intercepted, logged, or transmitted through this extension
• All data packets are discarded immediately without inspection
• Internet traffic is explicitly excluded from the tunnel
• No VPN server receives or processes any user data

Location

Location access is used exclusively to detect vehicle speed for the Safe Driving Guard feature, which restricts screen mirroring while the vehicle is in motion. Location data is processed on-device only and is never stored or transmitted.

Screen Recording

FluxCast uses ReplayKit to capture the iPhone screen for local streaming to your Tesla display. Screen content is never stored, uploaded, or transmitted to any server.

Purchases

In-app purchases are handled by Apple's StoreKit and RevenueCat. RevenueCat may collect anonymous device identifiers and purchase history for subscription management. Please refer to RevenueCat's Privacy Policy for details.

Children's Privacy

FluxCast does not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
